DRIVING LICENSE

A valid driving license from the country of residence and/or an international driving permit is required. The hirer must be over 30 years of age and have held a valid the driving licence for a minimum of 24 months. He must also be in possession of proper means of identification other than a driving licence.

deposit

A deposit/authorisation equivalent to the estimated total cost of the hire plus KShs. 20,000/= is required by credit card. The card is only charged at the end of a rental with the finalised amount.

insurance

All our vehicles are insured but in all cases (unless by wilful or negligent damage) the first KShs. 2000/= of any damage is payable by the Hirer. Loss/damage of tyres, tools and windscreens/glasses are not covered by insurance.

theft protection

The vehicle must be locked when unattended. The vehicle must not be parked in a public area for long periods. The Hirer is responsible for the security of vehicle and in the event of theft is liable for payment of KShs. 2000/=. The Hirer must not carry passengers for reward or gain.

car hire agreement

Self drive cars are hired subject to the Company's standard form of agreement. Notwithstanding the above conditions the Company reserves the right to refuse a hire at any time without assigning any reasons.

Fuel

Self drive rates exclude fuel.

time and distance

One day of rental is 24 hours, and is calculated from base to base.

PAYMENT

Visa and Mastercard accepted. Cash payments and deposits are not allowed.
